ELW I'd like to try that sauce although Kraft Miracle Whip sounds like one of those hard to get American imports.

Miracle whip is available online, but just double up on the normal mayo instead.

The dill relish / sweet relish (to give the sweet & sourness) can be found in Polish supermarkets or the Polish section of a uk supermarket. Try there for jarred stuff (Vlasic brand does both)
If you don't have dried onion, at least soak the fresh chopped in water for as long as you can.
Fresh onion will ruin this little project, as will supermarket burger buns, which are nowhere near as sweet.

Tips for closer authenticity: Assemble upside down in under 10 seconds, leave lying for around for 45 mins, serve and enjoy

Get some M&S Creamy Burger Mayo:

Use Warburtons white sliced rolls:

Heat a non-stick frying pan with no oil in it, place the rolls so that the inside faces down on the pan. Warm them through like that and they are very close to McD rolls.

Burger King Bacon Double Cheeseburger XL meal, Supersize.  None of the dross (gherkin, ketchup, mayonnaise, ...) that pollutes so many burgers bur rather a meal fit for a king.  Having missed out on one at Phuket airport, I drove all the way to Maidstone to satisfy my need for one the next weekend.  Sheer heaven.

Ah! Well, ASDA isn't the first place I'd go for morning rolls. Your local neighbourhood bakery is the place to go. They generally have a breadboard of ordinary rolls and another of well-fired rolls, and you'd be surprised how well the well-fired rolls sell. Much more taste -  a bit like genuine French crusty bread - ye cannae whack it first thing on a Sunday morning.
