When posting threads from another page, for instance copying and pasting a page to show the base gravy/sauce recipe if that page has another link to a spice mix say, it keeps asking you to log in when you are already logged in.
Cheers.

Sorry if this has already been mentioned but I seem to have lost the 'new' post boxes. Or rather I just have an empty square box to indicate a thread has new posts. Hope that makes sense and happy new year to you all.

Has there been a change made today? This morning the "recent topics" page was working. Now every page of the 10 pages on offer are all blank. Link is:

http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php?action=recent;start=10

EDIT: cancel that - I'm being a fool - it was simply that I had Somehow been logged out of the forum and those pages appear inaccessible to guests. All working now

Hi natterjack, all working fine my end mate, i must say though for some unknown reason the site seems extremly slow again.
Part of the reason for the slowness is the number of off-site URLs referenced, most if not all of which appear to be to do with advertising, activity tracking, and so-called "social networking" : I have made a very significant improvement to the speed with which the site loads for me by routing all of the following to a local server :

192.168.0.200 pagead2.googlesyndication.com
192.168.0.200 m.thisedge.com
192.168.0.200 static.ak.fbcdn.net
192.168.0.200 plusone.google.com

I am sure there are many more that could usefully be eliminated.

"Level spoons", Sir ?  Damn your eyes : there are no "level spoons" in this house, and there never will be so long as I remain master.

:)
