spot on - this is exactly what i'm getting at. i've gone through a few yrs of posts and have improved my efforts way beyond my expectations. i'm still not as close as i'd like to be. all i'm saying is that our primary efforts should be on moving fwd. light hearted chat will always be good but not to the detriment of making progress - otherwise this is the wrong site for many of us (the site would have changed what i understand it's mission statement to be).

my comments are not targeted at any individual. it's only negative antagonistic post's that get me fed up - thankfully not that many. i know for one that it's very easy to go off topic and have done so myself. best wishes.

I see it has now been moved to the "talk about anything other than curry" section which seems more relevant
