my first curry gig
« on: October 23, 2012, 05:57 PM »

Was asked to do a curry night for 30 people last Friday for a clients House warming party
There choice was 2 mains CTM and Chicken Jalfrezi with a potatoe and pea side ,rice and nans
Starters Onion bhajis, Chicken Tikka , Chicken Tikka Malai and Lamb chops
with dips chutneys and a salad
Hard work but very rewarding
This could not have been possible with out the recipes and people from this site
A special thankyou to Bob who gave me some welcomed advice last week on many occasions last week
And your corianda chutney was the pick of the dips
But thank all  :)

Excellent job there Michael and very professional looking.  It's got my juices flowing and am having an urge for yet another takeaway ::).  It's good to see so many excellent looking dishes being produced by forum members.  How did the food go down with the lucky dinners?

and what a gig it is!

Love the layout - looks so professional especially with the shiny tray and balti dishes - are they yours or did you hire / borrow them? The chicken tikka looks fantastically intense. How did your gig go down, I bet your client was well pleased.
