This is it for me - YOU GUYS! - i make curry everyday and appreciate all your comments. This is an easy curry to make and it tastes just great.
The Chasni with the Tikka in is the best by far - very very Moorish indeed - the Tikka just lends itself to this recipe - because of the ingredients... with the mint, mango etc i didn't use cream didn't have any left the yogurt and the carnation milk worked a treat.... the lime/lemon juice is a must - its a great curry!
Unclefrank - i used my base as usual - about 8 kilos of sliced onions in a pan, a tbsp. of salt with some oil boiled down 4 sliced carrots and a bunch of coriander tsp. of cinnamon about 4 chefs spoon tomato paste watered down 2-1 a chefs spoon of curry powder a level chefs spoon of turmeric all topped up with chicken stock made from 2 carcasses in water with some carrots and onions. Then boiled for about 45 mins - cooled for a cople of hours then stick blended quite smooth but with texture - the mixed powder is the same as any on here i guess...
Its that good it may be on sale soon!!!!
best, Rich
