Hi Chewy & All

Please can you tell me - in what and how you use your Pilau Biryani mix?

Many thanks!

I have been on the trail for the Kashmiri chili powder for a month or so now and with the amount of Asian grocers and wholesalers in Tower Hamlets I have been surprised to of only come across it once in my travels so far, and that was in a massive packet for around

Hi Guys
Shan Pilau Biryani
Although good, I ignore the traditional recipe on the back of the box.

Instead I use the mix in the pre fry of the Pilau
You only need 1tbs of mix per cup of Basmati, I'ts also good to add 0.5 tsp of Chinese Salt - MSG - optional.
I did a video of this, but didn't publish it at the time, when I realised that tw*t from curry2go was ripping off peoples recipes and methods (Pressure Cooker)
and making money from it.
I know its daft really, as once you share on the internet its open season for abuse and your stuff is public domain.
But I really dislike the Bogus and the Bullshiters of this world. (Rant Over) >:(

Anyway I'll have to write a recipe later for this, as I've too much on today..
But you will make the most amazing Pilau with these spices  :D

cheers Chewy

TT, Mirch means Chilli and I think Razor tried Fudco brand and didn't like it, not sure :-\

Not daft at all mate.

If you've took the time and trouble to put things on Vimeo or on this site for the good of others to see and learn from, I can understand you getting a bit miffed if someone rips it off and makes money from it by calling it a "secret revealed".

I am still new to this, but have learned SO much in a short time from your goodself, CA, CBM, Razor and many more on this site who share their knowledge for free. And it is very much appreciated.

I look forward to seeing the pillau rice recipe, and in your honour, when I open my restaurant, I'll call it Chewy's Special Pillau.  ;) ;D LOL!!
