Great pictures Ed.

Since discovering this site, I have ONLY used Kashmiri chilli. And yes, I agree, Chewy's Madras is one of the best curries ever. 8)

Give CA's Vindaloo a try too with the Kashmiri powder. Another treat. 8)

Wow, that looks spot on the money Edwin.

Take a look at some of my other recipes here, they may inspire your currying.

85p is a very good price, was that online, in the UK?  :)

Am I correct in thinking it's old stock they are selling at this price? I mean the listing I saw said the expiry was August '12, not long.

Lol . Couldn't resist,  ;D    I had a good look at there site and most stuff is overpriced, for being online.

I've ordered 6 packets Kashmiri and 6 packets of SHAN Pilau Biryani @85p another bargain,
plus some Mini Papads, which are as rare as hen's teeth around here.

The MDH foil packaging makes the sell by date a none issue, it will be just as fresh
if you opened a packet this time next year, but of course I'ts not going to last that long in my kitchen. ;) ;D

cheers Chewy

I agree with you about their pricing on most things, lock n lock containers seem a blessed exception though and I tend to buy some with each order. Their "fresh produce" doesn't seem all that fresh to me, either. But I'm drifting off topic so should stop!

Excellent service, got a knock at 8.00am this morning with my goodies ordered.
We must have caused a run on the Kashmiri Mirch as I got new stock, BB June 2013.
Can't be bad and its stopped raining and sunshine, good start to the day.  :D

cheers Chewy
