Kashmiri Base (If there is such a thing)

Is there such a thing as a kashmiri base? Have been searching the site, but found nothing,
So does anyone know of one, or can i use a base on site and change it accordingly. 
As I'm new to this, could use some help  ;D

This is a rather interesting question, Les, particularly as Wikipaedia has the following to say :

Kashmiri Pandit food is also very elaborate, and is an important part of the Pandits' ethnic identity. The food usually uses a lot of yogurt, oils and spices as such turmeric, but avoids onion, garlic, tomatoes, and chicken.

the point being, of course, that onion and garlic are key to the bases that you will find here.  Are you trying to re-create authentic Kashmiri food, or more just something that is called (say) "Kashmiri Chicken" in your local BIR/TA ?

Don't know about your local T/A but I know in one BIR here it is basically a chicken korma with fruit added.

This one does have almonds, sultanas, and coconut in it, But looks nothing like a Korma, It's quite dark in color really,( like srilankan curry) maybe it's a hybrid
I did have one once in Bristol that had chunks of banana in it, not an experience to be repeated

I am pretty sure one of my recipe books at home has some recipes for Kashmiri curry. Just can't remember which one and whether it is traditional or BIR?
