It's sausage and it's curry sauce. What's not to like?

If it's made properly (not often the case these days), it's a separately cooked (and often sliced) sausage, covered in heated curry ketchup (I kid you not). The whole lot is topped off with a sprinkling of curry powder. It's not curry as we know it, but it's tasty!

This takes me back to my military days when out in Germany. Many a night we would come out of a tavern somewhere and find a "Schnell Imbis" which is like a fast food van situated by a roadside. Proper Currywurst is an addicitve taste!! :)

I reckon that's got to be one of your next projects Jerry. Do a copycat recipe so that we can all have a taste and see what it's like.   ;)

nothing more than i love to do. trouble is it's sort of "smokey" BBQ sauce based and i've never been able to get BBQ sauce right making from scratch (for BBQ spare ribs). the rest i think would be just adding some curry powder and chilli sauce along the lines of your spec.

And I think you'll find its more Chinese curry powder rather than Indian curry powder too :)
