You could also try popping your tikka on a piece of foil, then putting them under a grill which has been pre-heated at the highest temperature it will go. Just give them a couple of turns whilst cooking and keep an eye on them.

Thanks Stephen. Will try this next time.  There is so much information on this website I don't think I have read even a quarter of what's on here yet  :o
