Thanks Vinda

I suspected it was your base, but just wanted to make sure. Any chance of putting a little more flesh on the bones of your base please before I give it a go? Things like onion size or preferably weight, carrot size etc.

Not really just bung in what youve got. It dosnt really matter if its 4 onions or 6, or 1 carrot or 3, it all comes out just about the same in the end. My base is just a guideline give and take a bit of everything

I woudn't say tasty Layne, there's still something not quite right with regard the taste. Basically its pretty bland, it just seems to be missing something. The chilli hits me in the the back of the throat about a minute later its gone down. What Im after is the hotness hitting me straight away but without tasting of too much chilli.

Vinda try using pureed green chilli instead of, or in combination with, chilli powder. That should make a difference.
