The first post is there, as it always was Phil. What do you want? It translated into words of one syllable?

No Garp, I want facts and evidence, not opinion.  Which part of that do you find hard to grasp ?

The part where you want facts and evidence. It is a fact that George started the thread. Gav provided the evidence. Am I wrong? If I am, please provide your evidence, rather than your prejudiced opinion.

Yes.  Gav stated that George started the thread.  That is not /evidence/, that is simply a statement.  I do hope you never have to serve on a jury -- your grasp of the difference between evidence, facts and statements is disturbingly lacking.

The evidence is in the 'started by George' fact when you look up this thread. Plus, I can testify before your UKIP jury that I witnessed George's post being the first post I saw on this thread.

I would suggest that your grasp of reality, and whatever little world you live, are very different Phil.

Yawn.  (This yawn also applies to all subsequent posts by Garp in this thread).

The thread was indeed started by George.  The evidence is pretty clear.  Even Stevie Wonder wouldn't dispute it.  Furthermore, the way the thread developed, just affirms it  ::)  And yet again, wonderful example of moderation when it isn't needed.  But only to be found lacking there is a desparate need.
Oh by the way, i heard an echo.  For once me and SS agree.  Ah, my comments are no longer there to see.  But I do concur SS, CA definitely springs to  mind  ::)

I state again - Garp is correct. Page 1 of this thread remains exactly as it always was. I only deleted off-topic posts from roughly half way down page 2. I took pdf copies of (then) pages 2-6.

What more evidence can anyone possibly need?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought you were one of the people suggesting a few weeks ago, that the forum needed greater moderation. It just goes to show, I suggest, that my de-minimis approach to moderation was the best approach all along. Or would it only be the right approach if you were the one doing the moderation?

How can anyone suggest that most of the original pages 3-6 were worth keeping, any more than the latest pages 3-5 (and counting)?

All because a few people lack the 'capacity' to appreciate the more-ish taste of a Big Mac.
