Midnight Snack / lost count

Mutton Saag Aloo Balti Bhuna
Now that is a mouthful and so was the Curry.

A lot of prep went into each element of this one and a recipe would read like
war and peace, or one of Todiwala

That would probably just about tick all my ultimate curry boxes. Looks fantastic.  :)

Edit: Mutton, saag, aloo and balti, if you could just squeeze an egg in there I would quite happily retire to a desert island.

My mum always used to bulk out her Vindaloo leftovers the next day with boiled eggs :)

That lamb looks delicious, Chewy. I'm enjoying eating lamb at the moment but relatively new to cooking it. My local butcher has been doing me chunks of chump, which I've been experimenting with. Overcooked it first time and, although it held it's shape in the dish, it dissolved to mush in the mouth - quite literally melt in the mouth. I prefer a little more texture.

What's your favoured cut of lamb and method of cooking.
