Nice Job but im suprised that meets building regulations, A big wood burning oven that size in a small wooden Kitchen is dangerous, Youll be suprised the heat that will come off that so dont be suprised if it burns down at some point.

Who said it meets building regs?..im surprised at you Mike...very surprised

I thought you didn't need building regs for what is effectively a summer house /shed?

Gav Iscon, I work in the building trade, But a summer house with a wood burning oven requires building regulations as this will be a high output burner, Materials etc, Must be a certain distance, And require non flammable materials, Chimney must be double skinned, Chimney outlet, Plus what you burn according to your area, IE smokless zones etc,

This is where I got the idea from
I had a commercial Tandoor in the shed so I thought I would give it a proper home
I know it would not pass building regs ( I am too in the building trade  ::) )
Im not going to go through it again on how its insulated but the only place it will get hot is the opening
And Mike Im glad your not my neighbour you sound like a right grass
Chewy your spot on stainless steel around the cooking area and wood chip every else  ;)
Mattie the oven is from the woodfired oven bake company (mezzo) you can cook and bake all sorts of things
Garp  fantastic picture     I did laugh after going through the previous comments

If I stop posting you know whats happened  :o
Cheers MT
