Curries can actually be really healthy if you cut down or omit the oil but obviously the end product won't be like a BIR which often are swimming with oil.
I make mine without oil and the end result is very very good. When I get the chance I intend posting my chick pathia recipe including the base I use. I'll also try to post my chicken tikka masala recipe which does need oil but is a special treat.
