chilli chicken question
« on: May 21, 2014, 01:55 AM »
Hi. I've been look at the recipes here for my favourite dish - chilli chicken - but they don't seem to match what i've eaten in some restaurants.

Can anyone point me to a chilli chicken recipe that has cornflour coated fried chicken? often served with chopped spring onions.

In India I've also seen the rise in popularity of chinese chilli chicken ie Indian chilli chicken but also perhaps using soy sauce. Has anybody come across such a recipe?

Thanks

That was my first though.

Another idea would be to look up 'Manchurian chicken' recipes. These are found everywhere in India. They are usually spicier than the local fare.
