I will ask at the IG, though they are more traditional in what they offer when it comes to BIR. I'm sure they will have some good advise though. Will definitely be booking a table at the Shanaz so I can try thier fish dish. I'll ask Ali if he'll be good enough to sgare the recipe and if I can post it on the forum.
I haven't tried any traditional Bengali food, my only concerns would be how a western palette might take it. Looking at some of the dishes that Rick Stein had on his Odysee Adventure, there certainly are some strange looking recipes. I'm not so shy to to try but the wife on the other hand, well that's a different matter entirely.
