yep - a version of the sauce may be something we need - the delivery cost is a tad high unless u buy a lot.

i do like the look of the lidle brat and will try them 1st.

just a thought on my intent to serve in a bun - the original bratty comes in just a tray with the tom sauce over the full length - (whoops just realised the pic at the start of the post say's it all).

we do have IKEA and the cafe is always packed out. i could never work out if it's the food or the free drink refills - now i know it's the chips.

not a bad idea that - i'll give it a try. do they have any ideas on how to get the smokey version "pikant".

ps i make chilli sauce for non indian the same way - 1 off bottle tom sauce 550g and add 1 tsp chilli powder. i then put a "X" on the bottle to stop the kids getting it. at tip though u need to use a bit out the bottle 1st otherwise it's difficult to get the powder to mix in by shaking - it just sits in the bottle neck.
