nothing more than i love to do. trouble is it's sort of "smokey" BBQ sauce based and i've never been able to get BBQ sauce right making from scratch (for BBQ spare ribs). the rest i think would be just adding some curry powder and chilli sauce along the lines of your spec.

Here's a link to the BBQ Sauce Marinade I have put on here this morning Jerry :)

976bar,

i amazed there are so many sauces. i think the one i've had before must be the "Hela Schaschlik-Gew?rzketchup, pikant".

even at 6? for the postage it's got to be worth a go as a treat.

the bratwurst 1kg looks worth adding to an order. i'll check lidl and aldi too.

My local Aldi and Lidl don't do the sauce, but they do sell great Bratwurst, both plain and smoked. I prefer the smoked version :)

You can buy the bottled curry ketchup at www.germandeli.co.uk, or pick it up at their shops in London.

Do a copycat recipe so that we can all have a taste and see what it's like.   ;)

jimmy2x,

the shipment is on it's way. looking at a bratty this w/e (now spotted them in both aldi & lidle following 976bar's prompt).

i like u're idea but this curry stuff has got to be my no 1 priority at the mo (mainly spicing). even thinking of a trip to brum after watching the f word final.  i could not resist downloading the Argentinian restaurant lamb kebab recipe for a go either.
