MA... Am still using Snoopy's "final" base (ironically his first one). Makes good curry.

Ive made the one after that which he said was better, it was good but wasnt quite there for me,and obviously not for snoopy either, definately not as good as jb base though

Will be making JB Base soon, perhaps next week or the week after.

I don't seem to be eating as much BIR at the moment, so my base batches last a long time.

Well after the kerfuffle that was HappyChris base farce, and some more failed attempts at creating a base by me, I lost a bit of my BIR enthusiasm, but jb's base has given me that back , I cant wait to cook curries again now and I am having some very very good results  :)

rshome123 hi I also made snoopy final base as he was kind enough to mail it to me, I thought it made great curry and the parsnip made it very creamy for me :D I liked it very much as a madras.
Defiantly not a waste making a batch of his base.

HI lc rs123 is taking about snoopys pre-parsnip final base

I think it was called secret base the final, snoopy then did new base recipe and then new base 2 (with parsnip ) correct me if Im wrong rs.
I had some great results with snoopys bases but never got to make the new base 2 with parsnip as I made jb's instead  :)

Thanks for clearing that up MA I think sticking with Jb's base is the right way to go, maybe on day we will get another snip of info.

but for now I'm more than happy were I am at. :)

Yes, I was referring to Snoopy's initial base which he fatefully referred to as "final". Haven't tried any of his other ones... Always have had older base to use up.
