I`m moving to Perth Australia soon and this site may well just save my life! After many trips down under I still havn`t found the restaurant style curries I love and always crave my BIR in Leicester ( The Taj Mahal )
I have spent many years trying to get that taste with my own efforts but its only since I purchased Kris Dhillons book have I got anywhere near. Near has been great but this site with all its curry fanatics and experts should help things get fantastic.
My only thoughts on the base taste are with all the thousands of restaurants and takeaways getting the taste right it cannot be rocket science. I dont think its all down to a secrete ingredient thats missing I think its all down to technique and quantity produced. ( I think ! )
Having just read Fat Lez`s piece in the lets talk curry 18th May 2006 I think he`s spot on with his thoughts. Keep thinking Lez.
