D-I-Y mouli

Making a new batch of base tonight, and it looks as if I may have inadvertently blunted or damaged one of the blades of my Kenwood blender, so am getting more fibrous mass than previously.  Lacking a mouli, I attempted to fabricate one with a large sieve and a wooden spatula, but with little success; then realisation kicked in, and I replaced the wooden spatula with a non-stick (nylon) ladle -- result : instant success, and you can then use the ladle to remove the fibrous mass and put it back in the blender with the next batch of base to be blended.  Also took the time to mark the maximum height to which I can safely fill the blender with base without coating the kitchen walls and ceiling . . .
