I have only ever cooked fish Mani Tikka Lasooni and used a mix of:
Turmeric
crushed sea salt
ground black pepper
Garam Massala
Chili powder
Curds
Garlic
Sunflower Oil
mixed all ingredients and pasted the marinade over the fish (and in to diagonal cuts in the fish) and left overnight.
Oven baked in a clay pot for 20-30 mins
