Hi Mustapharuby,
Curry gravy oil is the oil taken from the top of the base gravy when you first make it. You then use this oil to start a curry.

I haven't visited the site for some time but pleased to find your recipe for CTM as observed being cooked in a restaurant...at last I have a promising one to try! It's probably an obvious one but as I've been away from the curry world for a while, could you remind me what the 'restaurant spice mix' is that you refer to please. Thank you! Jules
