Beautiful Kitchen and Nice Design ,Well done!. :)

Sam - why did you repeat the entire post, complete with the image everyone has seen before, just to add a few fine words of your own? It's inelegant and, to be honest, lazy, not to trim a quote to the minimum. Why clutter the forum with so much duplication?

Well on your way Frank ;)
Are you having curry cooking withdrawals or are you managing to do a bit.

You inspired me into a little refurb myself.

I decided renew a sink surround/worktop and tiles, all went well until I bought the new tiles and thought to myself,
I won't buy any adhesive as there's a big tub somewhere in the shed.

O.K. Ripped all the old tiles off, patch plastered the walls, next day, prep and did the tiling, great I really enjoy tiling.
Next day, what a bummer, half the tiles were lying about and the rest just came away with a touch.

Lesson learnt, use fresh adhesive every time!

Still I enjoyed tiling the whole thing again and I thought I was making Chapatti for a minute, when I was mixing the grout. LoL. ;D

Looking around Kitchen places for two new large spice cabinets to finish the refurb.

Keep us posted on your progress Frank
cheers Chewy

I just cant wait to get back to cooking curries its been 5 or 6 weeks now, keep watching videos from here.

Got quite a few friends in the building trade, used be one of my many jobs, so they got me most of the adhesive, plaster etc, my tiles are going to be put on by kitchen fitter,

Got to level the floor Saturday morning and prime the walls (two coats) and ceiling (three coats) then that's it for a bit, going to let everything have a good couple of days drying, with help from an air purifier.

Appliances are being delivered tomorrow (Friday) so got to find room for those.

Then the kitchen being delivered on the 21st July (Saturday), then fitted on the week commencing 23rd July.

With your spice cabinets have you got a picture where they will go, have got a few pictures saved on my laptop so some of them might be just what you are looking for. What size would the cabinets be?

Hi Frank
Just looking at normal wall cabinets H720xD290xW500 to fit either side of the window and then adapting them for spices.
I don't want anything showing as this is just handy storage and I like the mixed spice aroma when you open the doors.
cheers Chewy
