Namaste - Middlesbrough
« on: May 22, 2012, 01:23 PM »
Located on Newport Road near the town. We discovered this resturant at the beginning of the year, and haven't eaten in another local Indian since. First impressions of the resturant was that the interior and layout made it look a little like a cafe, but they've had a refurb and it's a lot more homely and with a cosier feel.

The great shame with this resturant is that it's not at all busy, which might put some people off. The food is genuinely amazing and well worth a try.

The owner,Ali, has also offered to show me the ropes in the kitchen and teach me how to cook some of his amazing food too.

I'd certainly be getting in there BigKeith and taking the owner up on his offer.  I'm sure there'd be some very useful information to come out of it mate ;)

Big Keith,

I am from the Boro myself. I couldnt agree more with the reccomendation of namastes. I have also been singing the praises of this restraunt for the quality of the food.

It is a massive shame that it does not get more custom.

well worth a visit if anyone is ever in the boro.

Alan
