You are going to confuse the natives with that kind of talk  ;)

My grandfather was from Glagow, but alas I am afraid I was not able to make myself understood when I arrived in glasgow back in the 80's to work and asked someone for Sauciehall street!!!! (Sauchiehall street!!!) lol :) But I had the greatest of laughs when I went for my first Indian on that street on our first night, only to be met by what I consider the tallest Indian waiter I have ever met and excuse my language, dark as the ace of spades. He opened the door to five of us and in the broadest Glaswegian accent said, "Alright lads what is it you'll be having??!!" After having fell about laughing we continued to order and ordered 5 naan breads which came out about 3 feet long which we had in the back of the van for about 2 weeks!! lol :)

Ah yes, Those were the day's my friend, Those were the day's, When men were men, and women were glad of it ;D

My husband always laughs at sikhs with a strong Glaswegian accent - I think he expects them to sound like those from It Ain't 'Alf Hot Mum....eeh! you can take the boy out of Huddersfield an' that lol

I'm afraid this current trend of feminine topiary's not for me. How the heck I'm supposed to lift my gunt, use a razor AND hold a mirror is beyond me.....after my last try out my mimsy looked like a cross between Jackie Stallone and Colonel Gadaffi - after he'd been captured.  >:( <shakes head>

Consider the tone well and truly lowered :D

Domi,
Just get a bigger mirror and stand over it While you work, It's not a pretty site, :o but you will get used to it, Just think of it as doing your bit for mankind sort of speak. ;D
I'm sure the tone could get lower, but we are being polite for the sake of the children, (9pm Watershed) ;D
A bird in the hand, is worth two in the bush ??? so they say :-\
