I know this has been asked before but what is the general amount/measurements for a chefs spoon when doing a recipe. How many tbsp does everybody stick to when a chefs spoon is asked for in a recipe.Thanks.

I always thought a chef's spoon was about 4 tbls only to find that the one I bought today (the first chef's spoon I've ever had) holds just 2.5 tbls of liquid, if that.
