If you are a bit of a "2 pennies worth" kind of guy,  I can't think of a finer web site to join than CR0. 

Lets face it , most of us have added our "2 pennies worth" enough times by now, to be millionaires thrice over   

If anyone can think of another web site , where adding your 2 pennies worth is so dam easy, I would like to know?     

Does such a beast exist ??

Hey DD,

It's what makes the world turn my friend.  Wouldn't it be a 'boring' state of affairs if we agreed all the time, just for the sake of forum etiquette?

I can honestly say, hand on heart that there is absolutely nobody on cr0 who I have taken a dislike to.  There are a few whom I have been temporarily angered by but it never lasts too long thankfully.

But, apart from the trying of all the different recipes, the most fun for me is, seeing a comment made by a member then, guessing which members will reply and how they reply. 

I think it's great that we debate, even argue our positions at times, just don't like it when the insults arrive.

Anyhoo....That's my 2 pennies worth ;D

Good to see Derek posting again

the big advantage of this site is that it isn't commercial

the downside is that it isn't commercial in as much as moderating is limited and sometimes non existent

however I wouldn't have it any other way - in my opinion this is the best curry site in the world

i have learned loads on here and I have tried to make a contribution in my own small way

i have "met" (virtually) a bunch of great guys (curryheads) who I'm sure would be a blast to meet in real life

At a time of year when money is traditionally tight, its good to see so many members still willing to add their 2 penneth worth !   

Ray and Stephen , i totally agree with what you both say, well said.

I will always have fond memories of those times , such as the ashoka days, when each post is a must read, and the debates go on for weeks and weeks. 

If the posts get too insulting , you can always shut down your laptop, and not logon for a few weeks ! 

The lack of moderation is one of CR0 finest points !  long may it continue
