Found this forum through Jims Homebrew forum. Nice find! Looking forward to trying some of the recipes.
Are there any general concencus as to the most "authentic" BIR style base? I tried the Curry Secret recipes and found them nothing like the BIR style.

Hi Deadbeat.  You're the second person to say that they got here via that forum.  Well, you probably brew some damn good beer so now look forward to cooking some damn fine BIR curries my friend.  The curry secret base was not a bad starting point but the recipes don't quite seem to hit the spot.
Try these couple of bases. Both yield excellent results when used with the many recipes on the site.
