Hi Hotstuff,

Look at the link in the lower part of FJ's posts. I remember this now and it caused a stink with some cr0 members when FJ posted a link directly to his recipes page. I never understood what the problem was really.

Glad to hear the recipes are getting some good reviews.

I have been to FJ's site, Personally I find It quite good, Can't see why we had the fuss in the first place, :o
Why I was asking was that I didn't know if the recipes that George cooked where from FJ's site or somewhere else ::)

If they have the thumbs up from another member then they have got to be worth having a go at.  When i have some more time i too will try some of the dishes that would not normally be on my radar, as i seem to be diversifying somewhat of late :-\ :o.  I too liked the site and couldn't see for the life of me what the problem was >:(

Hi FJ i have also made dishes with your "simple fried base" and was, again, well pleased with the results, will be trying the "masala base" recipes next.
Just like to thank you FJ for these great and wonderful recipes.
The Chicken 65 recipe have you tried to fry chicken first in a light spicy  batter (one recipe does this)?
It gives an extra flavour to the dish and crunch.

Thanks again for the endorsements. It's nice to hear when someone else likes ones offerings - it somehow makes it all worthwhile. :D

I know that frying the chicken is the normal thing to do with chicken 65 but, apart from being healthier, I was trying to do it in a BIR style and was happy with the result. I'm sure that frying would be a good option and there's no reason not to if you don't mind the extra oil. But since when do most of us worry about that?  ;)

I was wondering which base do you mean by the "masala base"?

                                            Chicken Dhansak
                                             Chicken Dopiaza
                                             Chicken Pathia
Not really a base as such.
