Topic: Which Writer Do You Recommend?

Hi t-c,

Reading back through all of this, I don't think I have ever mentioned once that you should not recommend an author if you think they have inspired you.

The only point I was making, was that for me personally, I have not found an author of an Indian cookery book yet, who's recipes have gone above and beyond what other people have contributed to this forum over the years through trial and error.

If, for you that is different, then I am pleased that you have found what you are looking for

t-c similarly your quite right to collect books just as I do but I have to agree with 976bar. As I have said before on here if life is too short to drink cheap wine then perhaps it's equally too short to cook anything other than the best dish you can with the resources you have at your disposal and for me so far there has been no book to match what you can find in here. That said I am a sucker for the next great book. PP

Sorry, t-c, I should have also mentioned previously that I probably have more cookery books than I care to mention. Not only Indian Cuisine either, but it still has to be said, that I have produced my best curries ever through this forum

I think it's more a case of who I actually avoid
