The Kings Repose

I'm from Birmingham but have not had many curries in the centre. I've had a couple in the "balti triangle" which were ok, shame the area isn't that nice! I also spent a week in Brick Lane with work, so naturally tried a lot of different places there! Most were good.
Best curry I've ever had though was in tiny place called The Kings Repose, tucked away in Featherstone (near Wolverhampton). It's a very old building, and looks nothing like a curry house inside, but the food was stunning. Probably the only time I felt that I could taste each individual ingredient and spice in the food. In fact it was probably one of the nicest meals I've ever had, and I've had a few as I travel around with work a lot.
If you're ever in the area, give it a go!
