I'm pretty tolerant of most music and musicians but I can't stand Lily Allen for some reason. Anyway back on track with the covers and I always thought this was great. Did Led Zepplin not cover it?  ::)

And probably my favourite Led Zepplin track, first recorded (I think) by Joan Baez, (for which Youtube has seemed to pulled all the tracks) and covered by the likes of Great White, Pink and recently Miley Cyrus.

And whilst mentioning Great White

Thanks Gav but your off target their my friend.  I like Coldplay but have never been able to listen to the human larynx, ever since "Sadie the cleaning lady" and "Raindrops keep falling on my head".  Now how old do you feel?

Here's one from the same year as John Kongos though.

Well found Graeme (Phil will be proud of you). Funny the youtube links I found being pulled on copyright for a song from the early 60's. Anyway,  Led Zepplin covered quite a few songs over their career. The Led Zepplin version of Babe, i'm gonna leave you is still my favourite version.

Here's another Led Zepplin original

"I'm Gonna Leave You" from "Fiends and Angels".  Not the same one but worth a listen anyway.  Martha Velez was / is a very interesting woman.  She worked with many different artists most notably EC and Bob Marley.  If you like reggae, and have time, check out "Escape From Babylon".

Was 'lucky' enough to roadie for these guys in my late teens/early twenties - parental guidance advised :)
