« on: December 16, 2010, 07:34 PM »
Allen Diwan is an expert in Indian cooking. Diwan has been cooking since he was 14, but for the past six months, he has been training in London with Atul Kochhar, the first Indian chef to be awarded a Michelin star. He has opened a number of Indian restaurants in Budapest, including Diwan Tandoori, Kama Sutra and Kasmir. Allen regularly gives cooking classes in which he introduces the public to the world of Indian spices and shares the secrets of the Indian kitchen.

ooh you don't want to mix curry with the kama sutra.....it'll make more than your lips burn! ;D

Didn't know there were two parts missing ??? The only one that didn't work for me was the first one titled "What is a biryani"? I thought it was an interesting watch too :( Apologies folks!

Somewhat confused : if I follow the link back to Allen Diwan, then select "Articles", I see he has written 55 articles, none of which is entitled "What is a biryani".  What are the "15 videos in the series", which two are allegedly missing, and where can "What is a biryani" be found (or not be found, as the case may be) ?!

** Phil.

P.S. Doesn't he make most of us feel linguistically embarrassed ? There he is, a native speaker of one of the Indic languages, speak perfect English in the video, and undoubtedly speaking equally perfect Hungarian given the location of his restaurant.  We drove through Hungary a year or so ago, and even pronouncing the place names was a challenge : Szombathely, Sz

Hi Domi,

Good link but it irritated me a bit because a few of the related videos kept taking me back to cooking the rice, so I've give up, an ordered a pizza ;D
