Hey everybody.

I joined last week and soon after i made my first curry base (SnS) and used it to make the SnS Madras on Thursday with unbelievable results!
I cannot put into words how good it was, and how grateful i am to this forum!
For years i have been trying to replicate BIR curry, with varying success, but it now feels like i have finally succeeded!

I can't wait to try more recipes!

Welcome to cr0.  Your experience is exactly the same as mine.  Whilst i'd been making good curries for years, the breakthrough for me was curtesy of this site and the "Authentic Balti Curry" cookbook that I purchased at roughly the same time as joining.

You do realise that now you have had some success, the journey has only just begun?

Well hold onto your hat because the ride just gets better i have only been a member for about 4 months and although iv been cooking curries for years i had never given the BIR a go but ill never look back now and all the people i cook for say they can tell the improvement so i hope u have as much joy as me mate ;D
