Hi surge,

I think freezing the dough would be fine but, why not cook all your naan's then freeze them instead?  They can be defrosted in the microwave and come out really good.

Freezing dough is a great way to make in advance, especially if it is leavened as it proves when thawing. I always freeze what I don't use and just take out what I need to make in advance of when I need it.

Good point Domi,

and not forgetting that 12 dough balls take up alot less room in a freexer than 12 full naans lol :)

But I was thinking more along the lines of, whilst you've got the flour out and the rolling pin, get them all rolled out and cooked, then when you need one, it's just a case of, out the freezer, 1 min in the microwave and they are ready to eat, without all the faff ;)

Hi Guys

Thanks for the help and advice on freezing the dough, but i pre cooked my nans the last time and de frosted them and popped them in the microwave but i found them to be a little bit hard and dry.( only put them in for a minute ) so thats the reason why i want to try doing them from the dough stage and cook them on a pizza tray in the oven hoping that they will be alot fresher, etc

Hi
I find wetting the surface, then for the micro enclosing, so they steam or place under pre heated grill.
