Eastern Spice. Tipton West Midlands
« on: March 19, 2010, 10:24 PM »
Just come back from this restaurant, actually went out for pizza then got drawn towards this place (you all know the smell i am talking about).

Eastern Spice.
91 Owen Street,
Tipton.
West Midlands.
DY4 8ET.

Very friendly staff, also very clean and tidy, atomsphere was excellent.Waited about 30-35 minutes for meal. Was very busy including take-away pick-ups aswell.
Ordered Chicken Tikka Dhansak (CA didnt have mushrooms with it) and the other half had a Tandoori Deluxe (combination of chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, lamb tikka and sheek kebab served with a nan and salad)

Dhansak was beautiful, the lentils was made into 3 dumpling sized balls, plus just the right amount of lentils in the sauce. The chips were about an inch thick and about 3-4 inches long and were made with real potatoes not the frozen ones.
The other half didnt speak much through the meal ........so she really enjoyed hers.
Anyway thats it. Highly recommended.
Overall 10/10.

Unclefrank,

not been to tipton for a good while (home was Brierley Hill).

there are plenty of real good places in the area - the Dilshad on the Cross in Oldswinford is well worth a visit (take u're own drinks even for the "grown up" kids).
