I am addicted to green chillies - there I said it. I add them into almost everything I eat from lasagne to chicken fried rice. I don't want to get over my addiction I want to feed it, but at the same time too many curries has taken it's toll on the waistband and I'm trying to shed a few pounds.
I'm looking for some inspiration for healthy lunchtime snacks that include green chillies. I have tried chilli and cheese on toast as suggested on this forum, and chilli and baked beans on toast and they are both lovely. I also add a couple of green chillies to pot noodles which really fire them up. After that I'm pretty much clean out of ideas.
Any help or ideas would be very welcome.

What are we to do with you? Firstly Cheese on toast is full of fat, secondly beans are full of sugar. I love em too and that is why my waistline is now a coastline

but.......
How about Ryvitas with Light Philadelphia Cheese with Chives and finely sliced green chillies for starters?
Last week I also made a vegetarian Madras, with hardly any oil but still lots of chilli, so still very tasty but nutrional too. I simply made Chapatis to go with that.
I also like to make that Tomato/cucumber/onion salad that you have with the poppdaums. I usually thinly slice fresh green chillis in with that too, add a little mango chutney and some shreded Chicken or Chicken Tikka and you have a very tasty lunch

Hope this helps....
