The Madras recipe is from the old BE cookery articles. Its basically the "curry" recipe from his 2008 posting, with added chilli powder and a tsp of lemon juice.
As part of my head to head effort I will be comparing Bruce's base and madras to SnS' base and accompanying Madras recipe.

its odd, i have never tried any BE recipies, or bases, despite having a lot of respect for the guy. been too busy trying ideas suggested to me by the head chef at my local bir.
