Noticed the site last night and was suprised how serious you guys are about your curries so thought I would join and try it out for myself being unimpressed with certain pastes for making curries ;D
Thought I'd jump right in and have made the BE gravy it's cooling off now and looks the same as your photo's.
Cheers guys.

Thanks for the welcome.
Made madras to go with the base in single portions, experimented with different spice quantities and got excellent results, much tastier than some curry houses I've been to!! Haven't found a good one in the town where I live which is a shame.
Been to morrisons again in readiness for darth's base which will be bubbling away later this evening, going to try it with no chilli powder to attempt different curries.
Has anyone else tried the base with curries other than madras? ;D
