a lamb curry using various ideas off this site and put it in a slow cooker.The results were really nice. Lamb was very tender. Anyone else tried using a slow cooker.

Hi Mark, I use slow cooker for chicken stock, does a good job but dont use it to cook onions as they get a stewed taste.

  yes i have done loads in the slow cooker with beef or lamb what i do is prepare them the previous night in the pan/wok whatever you use to a stage when all ingredients are in and just stick them in the slow cooker in the morning on a low setting when you return from work meal is ready and the beef or lamb are as tender as you can get,,lovely

Hi Fellas, yeah turned out a really nice curry. Gonna give dhansak a go next.Dont know how well it would work with chicken or prawns tho?
