Hi from Oxford, UK

Hi everyone.
Just discovered this site from a link in the uk.food+drink.indian newsgroup, and I wish I'd done so years ago.
I love curries, and have cooked and eaten them for years, with varying degrees of success. I've lived and worked in Thailand and Sri Lanka, so my loyalties are split, depending on the mood I'm in.
Living near Oxford I'm spoiled for choice, with lots of good Thai, Bengali and all the other flavours of "Indian" restaurants which abound here. We also have a couple of really good home-delivery services which supply lovely curries at pretty good prices.
I'm looking forward to picking up lots of tips and recipes from here, and will try to contribute as well.
Oh, and I positively *hate* fresh coriander/dhanya, makes me physically gag!
Well, that's about it for the present.
