Hi, just came home from town and forgot the friggin Passata  :'( , is it ok to use tomatoe sauce

I don't know about using tom sauce have you not got any fresh toms or a tin?

Yes I have both thank you , and incidently I am making Jasper's base sauce could you please tell me the equivelent measure for a soup ladle

Just put a tin or 2 of tomatoes in a blender wizz it it up for a min = you got your Passata job done !
