It is very rare these days for me to be able to rate a BIR as "highly recommended", but I am delighted to report that a new one has emerged, "Sunny Spice" in Lostwithiel.  a Southern Indian restaurant that serves (for example) masala dosa as well as a wide range of other Southern and general Indian dishes.  A jug of mango lassi will cost less than

That's a decent range of dishes and the menu includes my Dad's favourite (kitchdi).  It's been a while since I've made any though... might make a batch over the Christmas break!

Who here can name the TV series from Gaspodias icon? I got it easily, although I preferred Mary, Mungo and Midge. One for the more mature forum members I think.

Well played Gaspodia and Secret Santa. Being of a certain age, I didn?t need to search anything but my ever-fading memory to remember that girl and her huge dog.
My missis is American and I showed her some YouTube clips from Pipkins and Fingerbobs and they freaked her out. ?No wonder you Brits grow up weird? or something along those lines.
I have a certain soft spot for Hartley Hare...

Honestly, I found him a bit creepy. Although I think he improved his image in Pipkins compared to what he looked like in Inigo Pipkin, the show that preceded it. But Pig, well, we were brothers in arms, seeing as we're both Brummies.
