Its easy to prepare and can be either a snack or a main meal, its just lovely to see it prepared for the family in that way, yes breaking western hygene rules but it doesnt seem to have done him any harm lol.

I learned just yesterday of a local business that has had to cease one part of its operation because recent legislation now requires commercial ovens to be loaded with raw food (low risk) on one side and the cooked product (high risk) removed from the other.  Affordable, no doubt, by the likes of Messrs Walls, Ginsters, Fray Bentos  et al, but way beyond the budget of a small local family business ...

Response removed.

I now understand your comment although I presume it was a restaurant.

Thanks for flagging this up. It seems worth a try on a small scale.  There are some interesting ingredients including chili sauce in addition to fresh chilis, plus the use of soy sauce.

I too have seen a very successful farm, with farm shop / cafe / restaurant and brilliant play area for kids and even ran a Maize Maze for kids holidays announce only last week that they are closing all their shop / cafe & play area facilities due to ever onerous legislation changes that they cannot afford to comply with.  It will be a big loss to the mothers from far and wide who frequented this place with the loss of about 10 jobs.  They say they are going back to just farming.

I've done a few different versions including Chef Vahrehvah and some packet spice mixes.  Vahrehvah version was well worth the effort.  The packet spice blends, not so good.  Vahrehvah C65 is better than the Colonel's chicken IMO and maybe he was inspired by a trip to the sub-continent.  You will notice some similarity.

This version looks pretty tasty.

Speaking of "the Colonel", I tried for the first time yesterday evening frozen ("Ajinomoto" brand) chicken kara
