Breakfast
« on: January 12, 2007, 10:23 PM »
Anybody had a craving for a hot curry as soon as they wake up. I went out one night last week, had a few beers, well about 8 pints, went to bed and woke up at about 7 o clock craving a vindaloo. I tried to forget about it as a cup of tea and toast would be the norm, but I couldnt, I knew I had some in the freezer and then it happened I just couldnt resist any longer and had chicken vindaloo, pilau rice, popadoms washed down with 2 pints of water for breakfast.
Funny thing was my hangover was cured as soon as I ate it.
Anyone else had such cravings this early.

Years ago, there was something about Glasgow on the telly, how it had changed over the years etc, and it showed an Indian curry house that did breakfasts of curried scrambled egg. I quite often curry a tin of beans, which takes no time at all

I used to eat the leftovers for breakfast as the local take away was really yummy. Then a new girlfriend appeared on the scene and one monring after my shower I found her in bed eating _MY_ left over bombay potato - well that was it, she had to go!!

Always have had curry for brekkie as does number 1 son and so did my Dad (assuming there is some left over from the night before).  Nothing better than a curry butty!; why I hear you cry?  Coz it leaves one hand free and you can cart the curry around the house with you ??? while you get on with things that have to be done :-[ :-[ :-[ ;D

Yep it is absolutely the best thing for a hangover and it sets you up for more beers at lunch time; what could be better too.  Its God's gift to makind man 8)
