We have far more creative names for beer out here. XXXX and VB. There used to one called KB and another called DA but they haven't been around for years. There are some yuppy beers around that use words. Phhhh. How ridiculous? Used to be you go into a bar and order either a New or an Old and that was it. Really daring people (wierdos) would order a 50. VB and DA actually were abreviations. Who needs whole words when ordering beer?

The recent photograph now has significance other than its humorous first quality. Unfortunately Dear Prudence expired yesterday . She was quite aged and showed no sign of ill health or suffering. I will now begin a new cycle of birds to supply fresh eggs at home.
