Does anyone else think that anything to do with this name is very overated. Their sauces and meals are disgusting.

Their pastes get used by the BIRs, not sure about their ready made meals but Ive bought 2 to try so Ill let you know!

Personally I only use pastes made by Rajah,as like yourself I find Pataks a touch bitter, however I only use Pataks Tandoori paste especially for making Tika and Tandoori sauces as it contains Tamerind. I dare say I will try their ready made meals just to cast my view. It will be usefull to know what our other members 1st choice of paste is as well. Paul

I have just had a rogan josh by pataks, its not very nice, I dunked my chicken in it and ate that then threw away the sauce.

Yuch is my response to most, but their Kasmiri paste is the finest around. If you use their Tikka paste with some yoghurt Methi leaves to marinate & cook it makes a great Chicken Tikka kebab.
