There is a butchers shop under the multi-storey car park in Chelmsford town centre. The guys and gals there maintain a varied selection of meat that is sometimes hard to find elsewhere.

Last week I bought a whole leg of goat. It cost

If any of you guys live within travel distance of Chelmsford and find it difficult to obtain goat or mutton give these guys a try. If we don't frequent these little places we lose them and end up back in the supermarkets with their cling film wrapped, wet aged meat. I know what I prefer.

Thank you Phil. I just try to say it as I see it without upsetting anyone.

We are lucky to have the butchers in Chelmsford and the Asian spice shop in Braintree; but it all needs to be nurtured to maintain it or one day it will not be there.
